A space to understand, heal, and move forward.
Where insight becomes healing
A space to feel understood, supported, and empowered to move forward.

When you’ve learned to anticipate danger, the absence of it can feel unfamiliar too.
At MindFULL Counseling, PLLC, my mission is to create a space where you can begin making sense of the patterns, emotions, and responses that may have once helped you feel safe—but may no longer be serving you in the same way.
I believe healing begins with understanding, not judgment. The ways we protect ourselves often have a history, and sometimes what looks like anxiety, avoidance, control, or emotional overwhelm makes more sense when we understand what came before it.
You are more than the things you learned to do to survive. My hope is to help you understand your story with compassion, reconnect with yourself, and discover new ways of moving through life that feel safer, more intentional, and more your own.
What protected you then doesn’t have to define you now.

Therapy with me is about more than managing symptoms. Together, we slow things down and become curious about what is happening beneath them.
We may explore how earlier experiences shaped the way you respond to stress, relationships, conflict, rejection, or uncertainty today. Instead of asking, “What’s wrong with me?” we begin asking, “What did I learn, what has this been protecting me from, and what do I need now?”
Our work may include exploring developmental trauma, attachment patterns, nervous-system responses, and the protective parts of you that learned to survive difficult experiences. From there, we work toward creating new responses that reflect where you are today—not only what you had to learn in the past.
Culture matters here, too. Family roles, expectations, identity, and messages like “What will others think?” can deeply influence how we understand ourselves and what we believe we are allowed to feel, need, or choose. As a bilingual therapist, I make space for those experiences in both English and Spanish.
You don’t have to erase your story to change what comes next.

Therapy can be a place to understand what you've been carrying, recognize what no longer belongs to you, and begin responding to life in ways that feel more aligned with who you are today.
You don't have to have everything figured out before you begin.
